SkillsIndex is an online directory that indexes, scores, and enriches AI agent tools — including MCP servers, Claude skills, GPT actions, IDE plugins, and more. Our service includes:

• Searchable listings of AI tools by category, ecosystem, and score
• Scoring and analysis across security, utility, maintenance, and uniqueness
• Install commands, config snippets, and compatibility data for enriched tools
• Newsletter updates about new tools and ecosystem changes

We are a directory, not a tool provider. We do not develop, maintain, or control any tool listed on this site. We do not guarantee the functionality, security, or availability of any listed tool. Scores are our editorial assessment based on publicly available data.

3. Listing Accuracy — No Warranties

Tool information on SkillsIndex is sourced from publicly available data, including GitHub repositories, npm registries, and community submissions. We present this data as-is and make no representations or warranties regarding its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

Tool details — including scores, install commands, compatibility, maintenance status, and security assessments — may be outdated or incorrect. You should always verify information directly with the tool's official repository or documentation before using it in production.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

4. User Conduct

When using SkillsIndex, you agree not to:

All original content on SkillsIndex — including site design, logos, scoring methodology, editorial analysis, and compiled directory data — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from reliance on inaccurate tool scores, security assessments, compatibility data, install commands, or any decision made based on information found on this site. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed $100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkillsIndex and its owners, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) any content you submit to the site.

9. Dispute Resolution

Informal resolution: If you have a concern, please contact us first at hello@skillsindex.dev. Many issues can be resolved quickly without formal proceedings.

Binding arbitration: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and SkillsIndex agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. Arbitration will be conducted in English and, unless otherwise agreed, on a documents-only or telephonic basis.

Exception: Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, without waiving the right to arbitrate.

Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also notify registered users by email. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
